Initial Check

• Shoreline safety check
• Specific gravity test for effectiveness of anti-freeze
• Engine fluid level checks
• Bilge check for water ingress and stern gland leakage

Batteries

• Visual check for signs of leakage
• Top up as required
• Voltage and specific gravity test
• Shore and engine charging check
• Condition of battery cables

Weekly Check

• Electric meter and top up cards as required (cards to be paid for)
• Batteries charging from shore power
• Heaters left on over winter
• Tightness of mooring ropes
• Water ingress, leaks and condensation in cabin
• Visual safety check on shore line

Monthly Check

• Start engine and leave running until normal operating temperature is reached
• Batteries charging from engine
• Top up batteries as required
• Condition of ropes, fenders and fixings
• Engine bilge for leaks
